- En kirurgisk hammare har ett huvud av till stor del cylindrisk form och består av minst en fördjupning, i vilken en apparat kan tas emot för att sätta in och/eller ta ut implantat, i synnerhet intramedullära spikar och Kirschnertrådar. Enligt uppfinningen består fördjupningen av minst två separata zoner - en införingskanal och en låsningskanal, i vilka införings-/uttagningsapparaten kan låsas.
