- クレージング Crazing
① プラスチックの場合は製品が内部応力のために,ひの表面又は内部に生じた細かい割れをいう。分子鎖としてはつながっている部分があるのでクラックと区別されている。
② ゴムの場合は一般に製品の表面に日光酸化によって発生する微細な亀甲状のひびをいう。
クレージング
(crazing)
オパールは通常7-10%程度の水を含むが、このオパール中の水が離脱したことによって生じる割れをクレージングと呼ぶ。
故に、オパールをディスプレイする際には、クレージングを防止するためビーカーに水を入れ、そばに置くと良い。特にハロゲンランプで照らす場合には注意が必要。
