The feasibility and advantage of adapting the equations to a matrix form is defined not only by considerations of mathematical elegance, achieved here with the introduction of a symmetric and compact notation, but also by the essence of the matter. ((I.e. the mathematical constructs and entities involved are well adapted to a matrix form and to matrix operations.))
