Thanks Thank you all not just for answers but for the grand conversation about "billi" which brought the smiles back amidst a very boring assignment. You all provided great answers and I chose Imane's because for marketing purposes this was the one that sounded the best.

Mayzoun's Question Hi Mayzoun..
It is a marketing campaign for Golf Courses in Australia, aimed at the Arab Gulf tourists. They plan to send it off to Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.

A suggestion!

But here are some English terms used in Arabic.

neutral Hazem Hamdy : Do you think معدل here refers to "par"? I am asking because Waleed had a previous question about par. I had found him something on answers.com that referred to it as المعدل. Maybe this link you posted can be of use to him? Sorry for the interruption, Sam.

You're right Hazem! After reading the whole paragraph, I think it was referred to "par" as معدل, taking into consideration of course the number 72 mentioned there, معدل الملعب 72 ضربة

I am not aware of any "official" Arabic golf terminology. You may find some attempts on the web, but I would not describe any as official or even semi-official.
