@Johann Une solution pour vous pourrait être de télécharger les sous-titres français d'un épisode de Battlestar Galactica dont vous savez qu'il contient en anglais le mot "frak". Je ne sais pas si vous auriez de cette manière accès aux sous-titres adaptés en français par un/e pro (plutôt que crowdsourcés) mais c'est peut-être une piste.

Official translation I am currently working on the localization of a video game that includes many references to pop culture, and Battlestar Galactica is one of the referenced shows. Several characters use the word "frak" as they normally would in the show, so I wanted to know if it had a global and consistent official translation in the French version. Unfortunately, time is of the essence, so I cannot start watching the show hoping to find these references. I am afraid I cannot really make it up, even though I suspect it probably does not have a consistent translation in French.

You don't need Proz for that. Have you tried any of the websites offering subtitles in many languages?

Battlestar Galactica is not some kind of exotic art-house movie almost no one knows about, there ought to be plenty of subtitles available in many languages.

OTOH if you want a suggestion for translation in French, the Proz would be a good place to ask.
