>> The Tourism Division will attend this AAA member show in Dallas, a top feeder city for vacationers visiting San Antonio.
>> This is world data, with US domestic trips not included. The blue area are miles traveled nonstop. The dark red are miles traveled using a connection, almost always at a hub and almost always on one carrier or one alliance. The yellow area are mile traveled using two connections—from an feeder city to a hub, to a second hub, and beyond to another small feeder city. The long haul has many of these double-connects, although the number is reduced as developing secondary hubs increase single-connect services.
Définition également bienvenue. Merci

ville de correspondance
Based on Termium: "feeder airport" - "aéroport de correspondance" ou "aéroport d'apport".
I think you can rely on the definition of "feeder service": an air service offered on regional routes which feeds traffic to major domestic or international services (Termium again) = "service d'apport".
You will find a concurrent definition in the document from which you pulled your second paragraph of context: A "Feeder city gets “anywhere” with one connection".
I would loosely translate your sentence as: "à Dallas, une ville de correspondance importante pour les vacanciers en route vers San Antonio."
Bonne chance ;-)

Comment: "merci Evelyna - trad. retenue à cause des réf. canadiennes; mais je n'exclue pas l'idée de "desserte" qui me semble aussi convenir"

: A "hub", or "aéroport plaque tournante" is one where connections to major destinations are coordinated; a "feeder airport" is one where one has to stop before catching a flight to or from a smaller destination.
