English to German Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
Ich hab hier eine Übersetzung aus dem Amerikanischen vorliegen. Dabei geht es um einen Staatsangehörigkeitsausweis.
Im oberen Bereich taucht ***CIS Registration No.*** auf. Darauf folgt eine 10-stellige Nummer.

Wie übersetzt man das ins Deutsche? Einfach mit CIS-Registrierung?

Ich wäre für jede Hilfe dankbar!

@David; You'd be surprised how much (or few) customers know. Answer often is: Don't bother, just translate it!

To be absolutely sure on this one, you just HAVE to ask the customer. However, if it's a printed form, I'd say you STILL have to ask the customer....

Danke, Hans - würde aber, wie David sagt, trotzdem auch den Kunden fragen. Mein Vorschlag kann nicht mehr sein als ein "fair guess"...
