valves
ball float steam trap.
Before undertaking any maintenance on the trap it must be isolated from both supply line and return line and any pressure allowed to safely normalise to atmosphere. The trap should then be allowed to cool. It is recommended that new gaskets and 'O' rings are used when ever maintenance is undertaken. Ensure that the correct tools and necessary protective equipment are used at all times. Once completed, open isolation valves slowly and check for leaks.
