ROI means Return ON Investment, not Return OF Investment. There is a big difference. Unfortunately, some of the Persian examples I have seen have confused the terminology. Basically, ROI is the % yield on what you have invested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rate_of_return. My suggestion is from my accounting dictionary.
