The method of generating a set of spreading codes, starts with the
determination of first and second chaotic pseudo-random noise codes (seed codes) of the desired length, which have delta-peak-like autocorrelation functions and a low cross-correlation function. Although the meaning of the latter terms should be clear for those skilled in the art, a binary code exhibits a "delta-peak-like" autocorrelation function if its autocorrelation is 0, or at least close to 0 for all delays different from 0; similarly two codes are said to have low cross-correlation if their cross-correlation is 0 or close to 0 for all delays.
