English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
The wells are equipped with electric pumps but the supply of town power is not enough to ensure uninterrupted running of the pumps. No generator was forecasted and the issue of providing gasoline still remains.

Is there any definition of "forecasted" other than "predicted" in this sentence?

Thanks

neutral Robert Donahue (X) : You can't exactly just plug in "forseen" here. You would need to rewrite the sentence to accomodate it.
