English term

in the amount

English Other Law: Contract(s)
First Installment of payment shall be given to the SECOND PARTY in the amount of 50% of the total work, subtracted by Rp. 5,000,000 (the advanced fund given for initial works of the project). The 50% of money shall be paid by the FIRST PARTY after the SECOND PARTY submits the products and provides assistance to FIRST PARTY.

I think "in the amount" is not quite appropriate in the context, can you suggest alternatives please? Thanks

I think if you put "cost" in there it'd be all right

"in the amount of" very common phrase in legal drafting. I would leave the phrase as it is drafted.
