I am translating a handwritten hospitalization report and have the following
"ARC communauté réanimé avec choc cardiogénique S/P/ET
et inotropes"
Thanks

resuscitation following a shock to the heart
A PDF document (see reference below) shows etiology (ET) as a study of the cause of disease, in section 3.
'Etiology: The exact incidence of a heart related shock is difficult to gauge or measure, with the most precise epidemiologic information (studies on disease in the population) on shocks to the heart or heart disease over the acute phase of myocardial infarction. First of all it's necessary to specify that approximately one third of patients presented with shock to the heart are admitted for complete medical attention, which induces an underestimation of the real incidence of shock to the heart.'
Etiology is a study on the causes of disease in the population.
The 'ET' initials could stand for study ('étude').
Near the end of the PDF document is
'PAM = pression artérielle moyenne'
(average or medium arterial pressure)
The 'S' initial could stand for 'syndrome' in connection with epilepsy.
Inotropic = affecting muscular contraction, especially heart muscle
(Les symptômes inotropes affecter la contraction musculataire, surtout du cour)

The shock to the heart could be from an epileptic seizure.
"Etiologies: L'incidence exacte du choc cardiogénique est difficile de mésurer, les données épidémiologues les plus précises concernant le choc cardiogénique survenant à la phase aigüe de l'infarctus du myocarde.
Tout d'abord il faut préciser qu'environ un tiers des patients présentant un infarctus décèdent avant toute prise en charge médicale, ce qui induit une sous estimation de l'incidence réelle du choc."

: it clearly says "with cardiogenic shock".Cardiogenic shock is a life-threatening condition in which your heart suddenly can't pump enough blood to meet your body's needs.
