La registrazione si attiva manualmente con il tasto Record (prefissata di 2 ore e modificabile a piacimento) oppure automaticamente programmando il timer da menu oppure OSD mentre per il Timeshift bisogna procedere ad una preattivazione da menu e poi premere i tasti SHIFT per iniziare a memorizzare l'evento in onda senza stopparlo oppure Pausa per bloccare l'evento ed iniziare la registrazione in background.
