German term
Unterschied /Abgrenzung/Ansatz
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Computers: Software
"Ansatz" - attempt, approach?
Thank you so very much!

difference/approach
As in: "You may be asking yourself at this point: what is the ground-breaking different between MDA and previous approaches to code generation? To which we respond: MDA is not CASE-based."
Regarding "eine kurze Abgrenzung": I think this may be one of those cases where the German simply provides too much information. It's clear from "MDA ist kein CASE-Ansatz" that it is a restricting or delimiting statement, so it's not necessary to explicitly state that as well. That would be my approach anyway. Plus it has the nice advantage of getting you out of translating it. ;-)

trailblazing breakthrough
At this point you're possibly asking yourself, where is the trailblazing breakthrough compared to previous approaches to code generation

I'd say
...where the supposedly "revolutionary " change of direction lies when compared to established approaches to code generation. Hence, a brief delimitation: MDA is not an approach to CASE.
I would prefer 'a needed delimitation'
