Italian term

l'arte

Italian to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations glossary/definitions
"L’illuminazione è affidata all’arte di Pinco Pallo".

Lighting has been arranged by... or Lighting arrangements have been made... and then I am lost.
I think it's I am a little off my game, just can't seem to make much sense of this.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Need more of the Italian text. Need to know why the author used this particular phrase, need to see more of the text, more of the style and nuance.

artistic ability

It seems like the sentence gives credit to 'Pinco Pallo', lighting was arranged by him, according to his artistic ability or even creative flare.

I would phrase it:
The lighting was entrusted to Pinco Pallo's artistic ability (If describing an event, something that happened, like in narration)

Lighting was provided by Pinco Pallo's artistic ability
(If it's in film or photography context, credits in a magazine, like a service provided)

ps) The reference is a random artsy web site I found to give you an idea of the meaning/context

Hope it helps!
