Discussion

Sherryd (asker) Apr 6, 2007:
Sorry, I can't give any more context. It was written by someone in Italy and I've been asked to translate as a favor. it goes like this:
quella luce che vediamo
non è la stessa per tutte le lune
che noi coppie di fatto ci creiamo
per restare sotto scia uniti
thanks for any suggestions!

just living together / living in sin / common law man and wife

What about giving the rest of the song, and a date, because this issue is very much in the news at the moment. Much more interesting than my oh so boring financial report.

unmarried couple

I agree with Michael's translation, but perhaps "unmarried couple" would sound better in your context
