I'm sure of the beginning: start over from the point... but depending on the rest of the context, it could be "where" or "in which."

or "start again from where you are". Life goes on. You have to start from where you are.

neutral James (Jim) Davis : "pick yourself up" is reading something into the text which isn't necessarily there from the limited context given, while "start again" does not and is what I would have posted.

start all over again

one way of saying starting over again from zero, from where one is or from nothing. In the case of a bereavement of a dear one (I assume this is what lutto refers to) then one has to start all over again.

in order to avoid any confusion and smart comments I intended the response to be 'start all over again from this moment on' and not from scratch. The source text is quite abrupt.
