Ну, а при расчетах для стартового комплекса, шахты, взлетно-посадочной полосы, прочностных характеристик самолета и пр., facilities в таком контексте все закроют, остальные претензии - к автору:-)

I guess it would not hurt, not very common in everyday life though, somehow the term rocketry shifted to amateur/sports field, don't know why. Thank you!
