I always struggle to explain things like this because I learned the language by living in an English-speaking country from a young age and not from a textbook. I just know that "savingS" is the word here... :)

: One can't help but wonder what kind of items those may be - warm socks? Rubber boots? Unspent ammunition? On a serious note, your proposed usage here it hopelessly wrong and non-native.
