Russian term

для устранения замечаний экспертов

Russian to English Medical Medical (general) expert report
Context: При необходимости проведения заявителем дополнительных испытаний (для устранения замечаний экспертов) на основании письменного обращения заявителя срок устранения замечаний может быть продлен до 60 дней.
Is it correct to say in English “to eliminate expert remarks” or is it better to use some other word like “defects” or “faults” instead of “expert remarks”? The problem is that my translation must be as close to the source text as possible.

to avoid/remove the defects noted by experts

I've come across this usage before, and you have to paraphrase.
Peer comment(s):

agree James McVay : I agree with David. To an English speaker, it's what you do about the defects noted that's important, not the comments themselves. I would say "correct," though.

Yes, "correct" might be better.
agree Oleg Osipov : I would say "remedy".)

agree Vladimir Morozov : 'rectify\straighten out' is also possible; 'by the experts' (with definite article)

because 60 days for removing comments is next to unbelievable. I think the author wanted to say to remedy or do away with whatever was the reason for the experts´criticism.
