: "drawing your attention" or "bringing the following to your attention" is not wrong but the implication is that it is a request of some kind. / True.

Yes Olga. It's difficult to be certain without a bit more context. Although I would say any request implied in "drawing attention to" is qualified by the "has the honour of".
