I really do not know whether they distinguish these types in English. They distinguish between Tension and Supporting insulators but this is another story. Never heard of pull-off insulators".
Compare "консольные и фиксаторные изоляторы" and try to find any difference:

if you want to distinguish between "консольные и фиксаторные изоляторы" then "консольные" can be called as "Tension / Suspension Insulator"

Note from asker:
Many thanks for a helpful link, Igor. You deserve the points for that alone. Would you mind comparing "cantilever insulators" and "pull-off insulators"? Actually, in my translation I'm using "cantilever insulators" in the sense of "консольные изоляторы". There appears to be a difference between консольные и фиксаторные изоляторы. Your insight would be much appreciated. |

: Стержневой изолятор = rod insulator, and "PH hanger" cannot be фиксаторный изолятор
