I like the suggestion of IDB format.

I think it could be the English word "bid". If you're bidding for a project, you often have to provide the CVs of everyone involved, in a standard format. The South American bank suggestion doesn't seem very likely to me. But all we can do here is guess.

This might be way off, but could it have anything to do with the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo? Like a standard CV format they use/used to use for applicants? Only conjecture here, but perhaps this is a format first developed by the BID that is now used at other institutions or this person has possibly worked there before. I'm only guessing this because from a quick internet search, "CV formato BID" or "hoja de vida formato BID" tends to come up a lot on (Latin American, not Spanish) sites referring to the Inter-American Development Bank.
