Spanish term

"coordinación general de ejecución penal y reinserción social"

Spanish to English Law/Patents Government / Politics Mexican judicial agency
Good evening. Just checking for alternatives to "Coordinación General" in this context:

Tal Fulano
SUBDIRECTOR TÉCNICO PRS C, EN LA COORDINACIÓN GENERAL DE EJECUCIÓN PENAL Y REINSERCIÓN SOCIAL

Will translations such as "General Liaison Office", "General Coordination Office" or even just "Bureau" or "Office" work? I don't want to say "General Coordination"; that sounds too mechanical. I haven't been able to locate any professional translations of the entire term in Google; if you have links, please share them.

As always, a thousand thanks!

The social reintegration is explained clearly in M's answer.. There's a National Crime Agency for law enforcement in the U K. It's for serious crime, organized crime, cyber crime, crimes of immigration and child exploitation while it can be for law enforcement of any crime. (Wikipedia) There are also territorial and regional police forces. It might be relevant or useful information.
@Lisa - yes That's the idea --- facilitating the reintegration into society. @Emmanuel - The word 'bureau' may also be useful here, but perhaps more applicable if the source text were something like "Dirección General" rather than "Coordinación General," which I see more as an "Central/General Office" or "Division of ..."

It looks like the equivalent of a probation service, whereby a previous offender might be in police custody or might be about to be released from a prison. There's a social service to assist the previous offender return home or to alternative accommodation, since the previous offender might need help and support to adapt to a change of circumstance. The service is in place to support the previous offender and help him or her adapt to being socially acceptable in the community without re-offending.
General is also a word used in English is this very context of government, e.g., the General Accounting Office, known today as the Government Accounting Office. Lots of other examples of "General' used for offices in both the public and private sectors. My take is that including a word to account for its use is perfectly fine, and may in fact be expected by clients.

'General' is one of the most overused words in Spanish, and can often be omitted from the translation.

As mentioned in Discussion, another option might include the word "Division":

Division of Criminal Enforcement and Social Reintegration

Social reintegration is crucial in the juvenile justice system, aiming to help young offenders transition back into their communities successfully. This process involves providing support and resources to address the challenges these individuals face, such as education, employment, housing, and mental health care.May 27, 2024

department of criminal enforcement and rehabilitation

I think this is slightly more concise and idiomatic. You don't need to translate 'social', and 'rehabilitation' is more common than 'reintegration' in this context.

Office of liaison between law enforcement and criminal rehabilitation

Liaison is the bureaucratic word to express the coordination between at least two administrative entities,

I wrote criminal rehabilitation to distinguish it from medical rehabilitation
