My name is Jill Hampson. I work for an editorial office in Liverpool as part of the Cochrane Pregnancy and Childbirth Group and I help to organise non-English medical trial papers. We have medical trial papers written in many languages and I need help to translate them all by March 2010. I've managed about 300 so far and I have 400 to go.
Unfortunately we are technically a non-profit organisation so we do not receive funding for our translators and have to rely on generous volunteers. However, you would be acknowledged by the reviewer as well as being included in the acknowledgements in our library if you could help.
Currently I have papers in Chinese, Danish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai and Turkish. These are my priorities at the moment becuase I have tons that need translating! We also get new papers everyday and so could also be looking for Bulgarian, Dutch, Farsi, Finnish, Norwegian, Russian and Swedish translators at some point as well.
Any help will be gratefully received! |
