Source text - Russian На заседании в Гааге «Большая семерка» приняла решение, что намеченный ранее саммит в Сочи в июне 2014 года пройдет в формате G7 в Брюсселе без участия России. Об этом сообщает Интерфакс.
Такое решение было принято участниками международного клуба в связи с ситуацией вокруг Украины. И будет действовать, сообщается в совместном заявлении участников заседания, до тех пор, пока Россия не изменит свою политику в отношении Украины.
Барак Обама на заседании в Гааге отметил, что Россия «должна заплатить высокую цену за свои действия». Президент США еще раз упомянул о том, что G7 осуждает Крымский референдум, нарушивший конституцию Украины.
Россия на свое исключение из «Большой восьмерки» отреагировала довольно спокойно. Глава МИД Сергей Лавров заявил о том, что, если западные партнеры РФ пришли к такому решению, значит «так тому и быть». Глава ведомства отметил, что в данном решении теперь уже G7 не видит большой беды. Как и в том, что саммит соберется без России. «В качестве эксперимента год-полтора можно подождать и посмотреть, как без него живется», - подытожил Лавров.
Translation - Italian Secondo quanto riportato da Interfax, nel corso della riunione tenutasi all’Aja i “Sette Grandi” hanno deciso che il vertice, inizialmente programmato a Sochi per il giungo 2014, si terrà a Buxelles in formato G7 senza la partecipazione della Russia.
Questa decisione è stata presa dai partecipanti al vertice internazionale a fronte della situazione venutasi a creare in Ucraina. Secondo una dichiarazione congiunta, tale provvedimento rimarrà in vigore fino a quando la Russia non cambierà la sua politica nei confronti dell’Ucraina.
Durante l’incontro tenutosi all’Aja, Barack Obama ha affermato che la Russia “pagherà care le conseguenze delle sue azioni”. Il presidente degli Stati Uniti ha nuovamente ribadito che il G7 condanna il referendum in Crimea in quanto viola la costituzione Ucraina.
Di fronte all’esclusione dagli “Otto Grandi” la Russia ha reagito con molta calma. Il Ministro degli Esteri Sergei Lavrov ha accolto con un’alzata di spalle la decisione presa dai partner occidentali. Il Ministro ha dichiarato che non prevede possano sorgere grossi problemi dal provvedimento adottato dagli ormai G7, o dal fatto che il summit si terrà senza la presenza della Russia. “Aspettiamo un anno e mezzo e vediamo quali saranno gli esiti di questo esperimento senza la Russia” – ha concluso Lavrov.

Lata Bai loves the sound of the cycle’s bell. She loves the rain. She hates having yet another baby.
She neither knows nor cares that somewhere the world has celebrated the new millennium, she only knows that another baby will make it seven in all. This time, after the first three weeks, she’ll give it to Sneha, her younger daughter to look after. It really should be Mamta’s turn, but, with her getting married soon, her mind should be on other things. Mamta’s father was too hasty with her. He is determined to marry her off soon after the baby is born: as soon as Lata Bai can look after the marriage preparations, is how he puts it. Almost twenty, so old and still unmarried, Mamta’s very presence serves as a reminder of his failure.
Lata Bai’s face contorts with the first birth pains. After six children, she can tell exactly when it starts and when it will finish. Only her first had taken her by surprise, but she was strong then at fifteen, and had managed just fine, cutting the cord with her husband betel-leaf knife. She’d even cooked his meal that very evening.

Il padre di Mamta ha fatto le cose troppo di fretta. Ha deciso di darla in moglie subito dopo la nascita del bambino: non appena Lata Bai potrà occuparsi dei preparativi per il matrimonio, così ha detto. Mamta: quasi ventenne, così vecchia e ancora non sposata; la sua sola presenza è per il padre segno di fallimento.
Il viso di Lata Bai si contorce con l’arrivo delle prime contrazioni. Dopo sei figli sa con esattezza quando inizierà e quando finirà il travaglio. Solo il primo l’aveva colta di sorpresa, ma allora aveva quindici anni ed era forte, se l’era cavata bene, tagliando il cordone ombelicale con il coltello che il marito usava per le foglie di betel.
