Hello dear all,

I'm a Cameroonian born male translator residing in Germany since 2001. Back home, I grew up in a multi-linguistic environment and French was my first language. I completed my secondary and University studies with a Bachelor of Arts in German with specialization as translator and interpreter. I must confess that I already developed in my young age the love of speaking more than one language and rendering messages from one to another; this has had an impact on my future career life.

Having done my first steps in teaching and translator while still in Cameroon, I left for Europe in 1999 to enhance my knowledge and skills. So did I learn the Italian language in Rome during my two-year-stay in the land of "la commedia dell'arte". Later on, I moved to Germany and was often hired to interpret from German into French and English (the two official languages of Cameroon) between refugees and medical doctors or local authorities. Besides, I have also taught teach German as a foreign language for newcomers and French/English for German pupils.
Apart from this, I have developed my interest and extended my knowledge on the field of translation, my favorite activity. This occurred very often during my job as multilingual customer representative within some companies and financial institutions in the area of Potsdam and Berlin, Germany.

When not busy with work, I like cooking, going to the movies, reading, playing crosswords and Sudoku, chilling out at home or with friends, watching TV or listening to music. I'm also a great fan of travelling.

From the experience I've gathered throughout the years, I can promise you to submit well done work, should you entrust me a translation task. My main target language is French, but have got experience in rendering messages into English and German.
