Experience
Years of experience: 29. Registered at ProZ.com: Mar 2005.
I am Mexican-American with full English-Spanish background, so I have full proficiency in both languages. I have graduated from College in both languages.
I received a Professional Translator's Certification from Berlitz, in 1994, with the New York Corporate seal, which is granted only after intensive courses of 4 hours a day for 15 months in such areas as: Legal, Business, Technical, Scientific and General Translation plus Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation on similar subjects with an additional average of 2 daily hours of laboratory practice at school.
I worked with PEMEX (Mexican Oil Company) doing technical and business documents such as bid proposals and refining processes. I would also like to mention I have acquired an extended background in business. So I know this field well enough as to translate and/or interpret business information from and into English and Spanish. I consider Business Terminology my field of specialization, but I am capable to work on technical and related or general fields as well.
I look forward to having a chance to show my personal commitment in this field of human endeavors and my interest in working and growing together as translation partners
I have worked for the highest level executives and government authorities in Mexico and government authorities and executives in The US.
