Source text - English 6.2 O Equipamento não poderá ser sublocado, cedido, transferido, ou entregue a terceiros, seja a que título for, sem o prévio consentimento da CONTRATADA por escrito, sendo considerados nulos todos os atos praticados em violação à obrigação ora constituída e persistindo sempre a total responsabilidade do CONTRATANTE. Obriga-se o CONTRATANTE a proteger o Equipamento de qualquer perturbação ou esbulho e a não permitir que sejam penhorados ou onerados por qualquer motivo, dando ciência imediata a CONTRATADA de qualquer ocorrência que possa constituir risco, prejuízo ou violação dos direitos sobre o Equipamento. Relativamente a estes fatos, obriga-se o CONTRATANTE a fornecer imediatamente todas as informações e documentos de que dispuser.
Translation - Portuguese The Equipment shall not be subleased, assigned, transferred or delivered to others, for no reason, without prior writing consent from the CONTRACTED, and all the acts performed breaching the obligation herein made shall be considered null and the CONTRACTOR shall always have full liability for that. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for protecting the Equipment against any disturbance or despoliation and for preventing the Equipment from being pledged or encumbered, notifying immediately the CONTRACTED of any incident which may constitute risk, damage or right violation to the Equipment. Regarding to these facts, the CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for immediately providing all information and documents available.
I have a degree in Geology from UNB – University of Brasilia and a certificate in geophysics from Cenpes/Petrobras. From 1987 to 1998, I worked for Petrobras in the areas of geophysics and IT. In 1998 I moved to USA where I studied English and Spanish, as well as information technology. Back to Brazil, I enrolled in and finished a two-year translation course at Associação Alumni. Now I live in London, UK and work as a translator in several areas.
