First, I would like to make it clear about my specialization.

I am NOT Jack of all trades and master of none. I am Jack of these trades:

-Advertising / Public Relations,
-Politics,
-Linguistics,
-Mass Media / Multimedia

and master of these:

-Literature,
-Cinema, Film, TV, Drama,
-Games / Video Games (Computer Games). :)

In earnest, I graduated as a linguist, translator and interpreter (B.A. Degree in linguistics). Politics, mass media etc. is what I am taught to translate, and I do it well (as anything I undertake to do). But translating of literature, films and computer games is really a love of mine! That is what I do best and would really like to do all my life.

As for Music, it is my second profession: I graduated from a music college. Besides, I am acquainted with many musicians (by the way, linguists too), both theorists and performers, who can always be my competent revisers. So you can be sure that I am a professional in this field as well.

English to Russian translating is preferable.

Now about quality and rates.

I suppose that quality of the job done should be directly proportional to its rate, and I can guarantee very high quality of my work for you, at appropriate prices. I examine all potential job offers, and if I find YOUR rate for the WHOLE amount of job (e.g. translating of a book) reasonable, I will probably accept it. Also, I do not mind translating for charities if not too busy. As I have said, I am a professional and I know the worth of my job. However, DISCOUNTS within reasonable limits are POSSIBLE.

I believe that quality of the job done is usually inversely proportional to the speed at which the job is done. So if you are seeking for so-called ,,fast translators at dumping rates,, and are not interested in high quality of the translation - please keep seeking. Only persons who have such job as Schumacher brothers, can do it well ,,even,, at high speed. :)
As the proverb sais, haste makes waste, and it is YOUR MONEY that may go to waste, and YOUR BUSINESS that may suffer if you accept such method of translating.

And the last. If you all the same want high quality translation to be done in a short period of time, this will cost more than usual job: the faster the speed is, the greater amount of nerves is frayed, the larger the costs of the translator are. In other words, time is money.
