The Reinsurers agree to abide by the loss settlements of the Reinsured pro-vided such settlements are within the terms and conditions of the original policies and within the terms and con-ditions of this Agreement, such settle-ments to be considered as satisfactory proof of loss. All papers in the posses-sion of the Reinsured connected with the adjustment of said losses shall, at all times, within a period of two years after the adjustment has been effected, be open to the inspection of a properly authorized representative of the Rein-surers.

Source text - English The CSO Meter is a tool developed to assess the civil society environment in the Eastern Partnership countries. It consists of a set of standards and indicators in 11 different areas that measure both law and practice. They were developed based on a review of international standards and best regulatory practices to address the needs and emerging trends in the region.
The objective of the CSO Meter is to provide a framework that will support regular and consistent monitoring of the environment in which civil society organizations (CSOs) operate. The data from this process is used to produce recommendations and initiate evidence-based advocacy campaigns aimed at creating a more enabling environment. Stakeholders have a better understanding of the issues affecting the environment for CSOs and rely on benchmarks based on international standards in order to improve the environment.
Translation - Ukrainian Барометр ОГС — це інструмент, розроблений для оцінювання середовища громадянського суспільства в країнах Східного партнерства. Він складається з набору стандартів та показників у 11 різних сферах для вимірювання як законодавства, так і практики. Їх розроблено на основі огляду міжнародних стандартів та найкращих регуляторних практик для врахування потреб та новоз’явних тенденцій в регіоні.
Ціль Барометра ОГС — встановити рамки, що підтримуватимуть регулярний та послідовний моніторинг середовища, у якому працюють організації громадянського суспільства (ОГС). Дані цього процесу використовують для вироблення рекомендацій та ініціювання адвокаційних кампаній, що ґрунтуються на доказах та націлені на створення сприятливішого середовища. Стейкхолдери краще розумітимуть питання, що впливають на середовище ОГС, та покладатимуться на еталони, що ґрунтуються на міжнародних стандартах, для поліпшення цього середовища

Стаття 1. Поняття громадської організації
1. Громадська організація - це добровільне об'єднання фізичних осіб та/або юридичних осіб приватного права для здійснення та захисту прав і свобод, задоволення суспільних, зокрема економічних, соціальних, культурних, екологічних, та інших інтересів, і основною метою якого не є одержання прибутку.
2. Громадська організація може здійснювати діяльність зі статусом юридичної особи або без такого статусу.
3. Громадська організація зі статусом юридичної особи є непідприємницьким товариством.

5. Рівність перед законом передбачає, що громадські організації незалежно від того, чи здійснюють свою діяльність зі статусом юридичної особи або без такого статусу, є рівними у своїх правах та обов'язках відповідно до закону з урахуванням виду та/або статусу такої організації.

7. Прозорість, відкритість передбачає право всіх членів громадської організації мати вільний доступ до інформації про його діяльність, у тому числі про прийняті громадською організацією рішення та здійснені заходи, а також обов'язок громадської організації забезпечувати такий доступ. Публічність означає, що громадські організації інформують громадськість про свої мету (цілі) та діяльність.

Law of Ukraine “On Civil Organisations”
Article 1. Concept of civil organization
1. A civil organisation means a voluntary association of natural persons and/or legal entities of private law to exercise and protect rights and freedoms and to meet public, including economic, social, cultural, environmental, and other interests, the primary aim of which is not to earn profit.
2. The civil organisation may conduct its activities with or without the status of a legal entity.
3. A civil organisation with the status of a legal entity is a non-profit organisation.

5. Equality before the law shall imply that civil organisations, notwithstanding whether they conduct their activities with or without the status of a legal entity, are equal in all their rights and duties in accordance with the laws and taking into account types and/or statuses of those civil organisations.

7. Transparency and openness shall imply the right of each member of the civil organisation to have free access to information on its activities, including decisions made by and actions taken by the civil organisation, as well as the obligation of the civil organisation to ensure the access. Publicity means that the civil organisations inform the public of their aim (purposes) and activities.
