General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Translation - English In case of power failure or momentary power failure, the battery automatically and immediately becomes the power supply and the lifting magnet is provided with DC power for the specified time to hold the hoisted load, so that lowering of the hoisted load is not required within the specified time. The connection between the main rectifier circuit and the storage battery for emergency power supply is as follows: The storage battery is divided into a main battery and an end cell, the main battery is connected to the main rectifier circuit connection when the electromagnetic contactor is set to the full attraction (transport) notch, linked to the main operation equipment, and the end cell is connected to the main rectifier circuit by an AC operation-type electromagnetic contactor with rapid operation by having a back contact at the time of power failure. Accordingly, there is practically no current drop at the time of power failure switching, and the operation is extremely safe. The time from AC power failure to connection of the end cell is extremely short (in the order of several dozen microseconds), and in the case of a lifting magnet with a large inductance, the attraction force is not impaired.
English to German: Skid control ECU General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Automotive / Cars & Trucks
Source text - English During sudden braking the skid control ECU with actuator has signals input from each sensor, which controls the current to the solenoid inside the actuator and lets the hydraulic pressure acting on each wheel cylinder escape to the reservoir. The pump inside the actuator is also operating at this time and it returns the brake fluid from the reservoir to the master cylinder, thus preventing locking of the vehicle wheels. If the skid control ECU with actuator judges that the hydraulic pressure acting onto the wheel cylinders is insufficient, the current to the solenoid is increased and the hydraulic pressure is increased. Holding of the hydraulic pressure is also controlled by the skid control ECU with actuator, by the same method as above, by repeated pressure reduction. Pressure reduction, holding and increase are repeated to maintain vehicle stability and to improve steerability during sudden braking.
