Bio

I am a certified English-Spanish Translator from Colombia, South America.

I majored in Philosophy at universidad Nacional de Colombia. I also have MA studies in History and Music.

For the past seven years I have worked as certified translator for Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia), specializing in central banking, financial and macroeconomic issues.

My experience goes back to over 24 years translating legal, academic, literary and other types of texts, as well as participating in voice-over recordings and interpreting. 

Also, I have translated books from English to Spanish for local publishing houses, and have been member and leader of translating/editing teams.
