I have been working as a professional translator since graduating with an MA in interpreting and translation in 2012.

I mainly work in the area of legal and financial translation, handling contracts, agreements, company reports, proceedings and patent law. I very much enjoy working in this field as I feel it is the best of both worlds - many things in law are extremely clear whilst others are deliberately ambiguous. As a translator, this gives me a great range of linguistic challenges.

I am committed to CPD in order to continuously improve my knowledge of the legal and financial sectors and be able to provide my clients with a better service than that of my competitors.

My workings language pairs are FR, DE, PT and IT > UK EN. I am always striving to better myself and improve my knowledge in my working and non-working languages. You will often find me with a grammar book in my handbag and the vast majority of my music library consists of audio learning CDs for various languages. Language learning really is a great passion of mine and this translates into my work.
