Born and raised in Belgium, where I graduated as "Ingénieur agronome" in 1987. Later lived and worked 10 yrs in USA (PhD in Bio-Sciences), 4 yrs in Latin America and 6 yrs in Flanders & Netherlands.

Career up to 2010 dedicated to Environmental Biotechnology, initially as scientific researcher in academia, then as process engineer in the private sector. That is 20 years of crafting professional reports and publishing research in English mostly (including graduate level UK textbook), but also in Spanish and Dutch.

My core skill has always been writing, kneading sentences that are easy and pleasant to read, and that convey clear and accurate information. Full time translator since 2010.
