To whom it may concern:
From 1999 — 2005, I served as Superior of Casa Santa Maria (“The Casa”), the graduate residence ofthe Pontifical North American College for priests assigned to Rome for study at one of the many Pontifical Universities and Institutes. The Casa is located at Via dell’Umilta, 30 — 00187 Roma.
Employed by the Pontifical North American College, Ms. Elisabetta SEGATORI served as my personal secretary and assistant.
On those occasions which required written statements in the Italian language, i.e., notices, talks, presentations and homilies, Ms Segatori displayed an exceptional competence and professionalism,
readily translating my English draft manuscripts into appropriate Italian texts, or, alternatively, correcting my Italian drafts to render them suitable for use. She demonstrated a grasp of the
subtleties and nuances of the English and theological languages used in the texts and manuscripts
and thus exhibited a suitable professionalism. Moreover, the translations were completed in a timely
manner, well in advance of deadlines.
I remain grateful for her invaluable assistance so that the administrative services of the graduate department of the Pontifical North American College would be well served. For these reasons, I am pleased to recommend her to anyone who may require services she can offer.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Monsignor Steven J. Raica
Chancellor / Vicar General
