Source text - English The turrets are equipped with a GPS Inertial Navigation System providing heading, altitude (pitch and roll) and carrier location.
With its embedded Extended Kalman Filter, the inertial unit delivers altitude and position measurements in very high dynamic conditions.
The turrets can also be connected to most of the existing inertial navigation systems. Dialogs with such equipment have already been implemented on several aircraft but may require specific adaptations.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
1) Standard operational functions
a. Line Of Sight control
The “Manual” mode allows controlling the LOS with the hand controller. Its sensitivity is adjusted to the field of view in order to facilitate control.
The “Fixed Forward” mode allows assisting navigation. The LOS is oriented forward, with elevation to be adjusted with the hand controller.
b. Automatic detection function
The system automatically detects hot spots. More than four targets can be detected and marked simultaneously.
When the automatic tracking function is triggered, the Line of Sight can be locked by the operator on a detected target, or on a manually selected target.
The image processing algorithms, to be selected in the MMI (Man Machine Interface) menus, are the following:
The centroid mode to track on the target center defined by its contrast with relation to the background.
The correlation mode to track on the target shape inside the tracking area.
The combined mode is automatically selecting centroid or correlation according to calculated quality criteria (polarity, size of the tracking window…).
When the tracked target disappears, the system automatically shifts to memory mode, slaves the LOS to an estimated future position based on the line-of sight velocity. The target is automatically marked when reappearing. If the target is not acquired after the time out of memory mode, the tracking mode is automatically switched in manual.

Основные функции
1) Стандартные рабочие функции
а. Контроль линии визирования
"Ручной" режим позволяет управлять линией визирования (ЛВ) при помощи пульта ручного управления. Её чувствительность настраивается под поле зрения с целью облегчения управления.
Режим "Неподвижной передней установки" помогает при навигации. Линия визирования направлена вперед, её угол места регулируется на пульте ручного управления.
б. Функция автоматического обнаружения
Система автоматически обнаруживает активные точки. Одновременно могут обнаруживаться и отображаться 4 цели.
При запуске функции автоматического обнаружения линия визирования блокируется оператором на обнаруженной цели или на цели, выбранной вручную.
Следующие алгоритмы обработки изображения можно выбрать в меню интерфейса MMI ("человек-машина").
Режим центровки для отслеживания центра цели по контрасту с фоном.
Режим корреляции для отслеживания формы цели внутри зоны слежения.
Комбинированный режим автоматически выбирает центровку или корреляцию в соответствии с вычисленными критериями качества (полярность, размер окна слежения).
При исчезновении цели слежения система автоматически переключается в режим памяти и устанавливает ЛВ в заданное следящей системой положение, ожидаемое исходя из лучевой скорости.
Если цель появляется снова, она отображается автоматически. Если по истечении времени ожидания в режиме памяти цель не обнаружена, режим обнаружения автоматически переключается на ручное управление.

Source text - English The Supplier and the Purchaser will hold, at mutually agreed times and places, co-ordination meetings, to exchange the status and information on the Helicopter Programme and the Development Work. The minutes of the co-ordination meetings will be approved by Representatives of Supplier and the Purchaser and both Parties shall take any action that has been assigned to that Party (as mutually agreed) at the co-ordination meetings. For the avoidance of doubt, it is not intended that such minutes shall supersede the provisions of the Contract.
Co-ordination memoranda (in a form to be agreed between the Parties) may be used by the Purchaser, the Supplier and the Purchaser’s or the Supplier's sub contractor(s) for the purposes of requests for and provision of information relating to engineering matters. Such co-ordination memorandum will:
- Provide, inter alia, a method of requesting and answering detailed technical questions or transmitting design or test data; and
- Document engineering decisions and agreements.
Each co-ordination memorandum is to be used for administrative convenience and shall not constitute contractual commitments between the Parties or a change in the Technical Requirements.
Surveillance by the Aviation Authorities
The Contract relates to Items which may be subject to the surveillance of the Aviation Authorities.
Should the surveillance action be instigated by the Aviation Authorities or on their behalf, all technical information relating to delivered or ordered Item shall be communicated to such Aviation Authorities, and access to the areas necessary for exercising their surveillance action shall be authorised. The cost for the Supplier’s activities generated by such surveillance, if applicable, shall be borne by the Supplier.
Surveillance and improvement of the means of production and organization
Throughout the duration of the Contract, the Supplier shall inform the Purchaser in due time of any significant change in its means of production and/or organisation. These significant changes also include significant change of Supplier’s subcontractors.
Translation - Russian Поставщик и Покупатель обязуются проводить в обоюдно оговоренное время и в обоюдно оговоренном месте координационные совещания для обмена информацией о состоянии Вертолётной Программы и Опытно-Конструкторской Работы. Представители Поставщика и Покупателя согласовывают протокол координационных совещаний, на которых Стороны предпринимают соответствующие предписанные им действия. Во избежание недоразумений предполагается, что протоколы совещания не заменяют положений Контракта.
Покупатель, Поставщик и субподрядчики Покупателя и Поставщика используют меморандум о согласованных действиях (в форме, согласованной Сторонами) для формирования запросов и предоставления информации по техническим вопросам. Данный меморандум о согласованных действиях должен:
- описывать, в числе прочего, процедуру формирования запроса и ответа на подробные технические вопросы или процедуру передачи данных конструкторской и опытной документации; и
- декларировать технические решения и согласования.
Каждый меморандум о согласованных действиях издается с целью упрощения административных процедур и не представляет собой контрактных обязательств между Сторонами или изменения Технических Требований.
Контроль Авиационными Ведомствами
Предмет Контракта составляют Изделия, которые могут подлежать контролю Авиационных Ведомств.
Если контроль инициирован Авиационными Ведомствами или от их имени, техническую информацию, относящуюся к поставляемым или заказываемым Изделиям, необходимо доводить до сведения данных Авиационных Ведомств, а также предоставлять им доступ к месту проведения контроля. Расходы на мероприятия, проводимые Поставщиком в связи с подобным контролем, если таковые имеются, несет Поставщик.
Контроль и улучшение средств производства и организации
В течение срока действия Контракта Поставщик обязуется своевременно информировать Покупателя о любых значительных изменениях в средствах производства и/или организации. Данные значительные изменения включают также изменения субподрядчиков Поставщика.

Source text - Russian Прожектор предназначен для установки на ЛА в качестве бортового управляемого высоко-интенсивного источника света видимого диапазона оптического спектра при проведении визуально-нескрытых и визуально-скрытых авиационных работ различного целевого назначения (аварийных, спасательных, поисковых) в различных климатических и метео-условиях и в различных областях над земной и водной поверхностью (горная местность, городская и сельская местность, леса, водоёмы).
Ограничения в использовании Прожектора определяются лётными характеристиками ЛА, на котором он установлен, и температурой наружного воздуха (не ниже минус 40 °С и не выше +30 °С).
На схеме приведены функциональные связи Прожектора. Направление стрелок на линиях информационного обмена указывает направление сигналов.
Координатные оси Прожектора в исходном рабочем положении, заданном по умолчанию, направлены по осям X, Z и минус 15 градусов по оси Y связанной правой декартовой систе-мой координат ЛА. Отклонения оптической оси Прожектора от данного положения обозначе-ны как: φГ – угол разворота в плоскости XZ ЛА (в ГП), φВ – угол разворота в плоскости XY ЛА (в ВП). То есть исходное рабочее положение Прожектора - это положение, при котором угол разворота φГ равен нулю, а угол разворота φВ равен 15±0,5° градусов вниз (с погрешно-стью, определяемой конструктивным совмещением осей Прожектора и ЛА при монтаже и погрешностью установки положения Прожектора). Знаки углов φГ и φВ: вправо и вверх – плюс, влево и вниз – минус. При работе луч ориентирован в пространстве координат ЛА X, Y, Z с ограничениями по углу расхождения α и углам разворота φГ и φВ. Разворот луча в пре-делах ограничений углов φГ и φВ выполняется с угловыми скоростями ωY и ωZ. Сигналы, обозначенные как «К органам ручного управления», «К дополнительным органам ручного управления» и «К дополнительной индикации», представляют собой сигналы управления (РК типа «корпус-разрыв»), задаваемые с дополнительных органов управления, дублирующих ПУ (4 тумблера и 1 манипулятор) в случае их установки на ЛА, и дополнительные индикаторы на ЛА (4 индикатора).
Сигналы, обозначенные как «К внешнему устройству управления 2», представляют собой сигналы управления и индикации, связывающие внешнее устройство (в случае его установки на ЛА) и Прожектор по последовательному двунаправленному интерфейсу RS-422. Функции внешнего устройства может выполнять любое устройство, имеющее согласованный с Прожектором протокол информационного взаимодействия, например: дополнительный (дублирующий) ПУ.
Translation - English The Searchlight is intended for installation on board the aircraft as an airborne controllable high intensity light source in the visible band of the optical spectrum to perform visually concealed and non-concealed aerial works of different purposes (emergency, recovery, search and rescue) in different climatic and weather conditions in various areas above the ground and water surface (mountainous area, town and country area, forests, water reservoirs).
The Searchlight application limitations are determined by the performance of the ACFT, which the Unit is installed on, and ambient air temperature (not below minus 40 °C and not above plus 30 °C).
In the diagram, the Searchlight functional relations are specified. The arrows direction in the information exchange lines shows the signals direction.
The Searchlight coordinate axes in the initial operating position set on default are directed along axes X and Y and minus 15 degrees along axis Y of the ACFT coupled right-handed Cartesian coordinate system. Searchlight optical axis deviations from this position are designated as: φH – angle of turn in the ACFT XZ plane (HP), φV – angle of turn in the ACFT XY plane (VP). I.e., the Searchlight initial operating position is the position when the angle of turn φH equals zero, and angle of turn φV equals 15±0,5° degrees downwards (with the error determined by the structural alignment of the Searchlight and ACFT axes during installation and error in setting the Searchlight position). Signs of φH and φV angles: to the right and upwards - plus, to the left and downwards - minus. During operation, the beam is directed in the ACFT X, Y, Z coordinate system with the angle of divergence α and angles of turn φH and φV limitations. Within the φH and φV limitations, the beam is turned with the angular speed ωY and ωZ. Signals designated as "To manual control devices", "To supplementary manual control devices" and "To supplementary indicator" are the control signals (DC of "open-ground" type) set from the supplementary control devices repeating the CU (4 toggle switches and 1 joystick) in case the former are installed on the ACFT, and supplementary ACFT indicators (4 indicators).
Signals designated as "To external control device 2" are the control and display signals connecting the external device (in case it is installed on the ACFT) and the Searchlight via RS-422 serial bidirectional interface. The external device functions can be performed by any device having the consistent data communications protocol with the Searchlight, e.g.: supplementary (repeater) CU.

And yet, they have no regrets about funding a military budget that since 2001 has cost American taxpayers over $930 billion or supporting under the Clinton and Bush administrations massive tax breaks for the rich that reduced government revenue by trillions of dollars. Nor in their embrace of market deregulation do they say or do anything about a food industry "that is spending millions of dollars on slick digital marketing campaigns promoting fatty and sugary products to teenagers and children on the Internet, on cell phones and even inside video games - often without the knowledge of parents. Nor do the zombie politicians utter a whisper about a country that is singularly responsible for jailing over 2,500 juvenile offenders for life without the possibility of parole or address the shameful fact that "just over 100 people in the world [are] serving sentences of life without the possibility of parole for crimes they committed as juveniles in which no one was killed [and that all] are in the United States." Instead, zombie politicians, blood-sucking CEO's and media pundits resort to deceit and misrepresentation, inhabiting a culture of deception and cruelty.

Since then I continue my translation activities in the aviation and engineering field being a full-time translator at an innovative industrial company and taking freelance jobs at leisure time.
