I developed a strong interest in language and communication more broadly very early on, and I was fortunate enough be granted a Fulbright Award from the U.S. Department of State to spend an academic year in Russia between my undergraduate and Masters-level studies. Additionally, I had the privilege of spending another four years living and working in Russia, during which time I worked for two Moscow-based PR advisory firms as a Russian-English translator and copyeditor.

While away from work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, including two dogs, as well as traveling, cycling, reading, and photography, among many other activities!
