I am a native Dari and Farsi
speaking, and I have also obtained British Citizenship and have been living in
the UK for more than 14 years. I graduated from a British University (BA. in
Modern Languages and Politic Studies, Hispanic Studies, including Abroad
Studies: Spain and Portugal). I am fluent in the following languages:  Pashto, English, Spanish, and good level
of Portuguese.

 I
have been working as translator and interpreter for more than 12 years for
various agencies (The Big Word, Language Line Solutions, Capita and more) in
the UK. Much of work I have undertaken were translation of documents, face to
face and telephone interpreting sessions for the Police, Court, solicitors, and
other Public Services. I am also qualified to teach language for adults.

Many years of working and being involved in
doing interpreting/ translating and learning languages have given me
outstanding experience of the field. As result of living in different
countries, I am highly aware of cultural differences and the approaches
required in order delivering successful outcome for the parties. I fully
understand the importance of client confidentiality and working within data
protection legislation.

Me gradué en la
universidad británica ‘University of Sheffield’ en Filología Hispánica y
Estudios Políticos, (incluyendo estos el Programa Erasmus por el cual yo
también tuve la oportunidad de estudiar en la Universidad de Zaragoza (España)
y en la Universidad de Porto, ( Portugal) 2006 -2010). Anteriormente había
estudiado lengua española, literatura cubana y de Estadios Latinoamericanos en
la Universidad de La Habana, 2001 - 2005. Domino a nivel profesional los
siguientes idiomas:  persa (ambas
variantes farsi y dari), inglés, español y además tengo un buen nivel de
portugués.

       He trabajado como traductora e intérprete
durante más de doce años para varias agencias (‘The Bigword’, ‘Language Line
Solutions’, ‘Capita’ y otras) en el Reino Unido, (‘Leídos’, ‘Language Line
Solution’, ‘Proz.com’ y muchas en EEUU y Australia). La mayor parte del trabajo
que he realizado han sido la traducción de documentos, sesiones de
interpretación telefónica y cara a cara para la Policía, abogados, el juzgado,
inmigración, salud y otros servicios públicos. También soy calificado para
enseñar idiomas.

Muchos años de
trabajar y estar involucrado en la interpretación / traducción y aprendizaje de
idiomas me han dado una excelente experiencia en este campo. Como resultado de
vivir en diferentes países, soy muy consciente de las diferencias culturales y
los enfoques necesarios para lograr un resultado satisfactorio tanto para el
proveedor del servicio como para los clientes. Comprendo plenamente la
importancia de la confidencialidad del cliente y de trabajar dentro de la
legislación de protección de datos.
