Born in Paris, from Portuguese parents, I spent my childhood speaking French and Portuguese alike and soon developed a taste for languages. I studied English and Spanish in Paris and later took a course in Legal and Economic Translation in Lisbon. 

In 2006, I started working in a translation agency based in Lisbon, where I mostly specialized in the fields of law, economy, medicine and pharmacy, tech, arts, tourism, to name only a few.

In 2012, I went freelance and focused on the legal, tourism, finance, arts and tech fields. Since then, I have translated OVER 6 MILLION words.

Some of my most relevant projects were for renowned clients from the food and wine sectors, the construction industry, for embassies, municipalities, museums and hotels, real estate agencies, haute couture brands, global investment firms, among others.

Around 2014, I was lucky enough to start translating contents for a Portuguese wine producer, and that is how I developed a passion for the world of wine (oenology, wine tourism, viticulture) and also came to specialize in this area.
