Combining a strong foundation in engineering with practical experience in
translation, I offer a distinctive skill set for technical
communication. I hold a Specialist Diploma in Civil Engineering and
an Aviation Engines Technician diploma, which provide me with a deep
understanding of technical subjects.

After graduating from the Engineer Academy, I started my career as a civil
engineer at the State Design Institute. Following this, I
transitioned into the translation field, where I discovered my
passion for language. Although I do not hold a formal translation
diploma, my engineering certifications and hands-on experience equip
me with the ability to deliver precise and high-quality technical
translations.

As a translator, I collaborated with a leading Ukrainian company
specializing in warehouse equipment. My role involved translating
technical manuals for forklifts and other warehouse machinery from
English to Ukrainian and Russian, as well as handling invoices and
other documentation. This experience improved my ability to convey
complex technical information accurately.

In addition to my work with the Ukrainian company, I have also
undertaken freelance translation projects across various technical
domains. This has allowed me to further develop my skills and adapt
to different technical fields.

I thrive on delving into unfamiliar terms and concepts, ensuring
accuracy in every translation project. My language skills have been
sharpened through diligent study at school, college, and university,
coupled with a decade of active engagement with native English
speakers. This continuous interaction and public speaking experience
have significantly enhanced my English communication abilities.

As an analytical thinker, I approach challenges with reason and logic,
striving to understand and resolve complex issues effectively.
Additionally, I am keenly interested in programming, particularly
Python, and am currently learning it with the goal of integrating
programming and translation activities in the future.
