I am a native French speaker with a Master's Degree in Advanced Interpreting and Translation Studies. My mother tongue is French (A) and my second language is English (B).
I have spent 4 years in Brussels where I was teaching French to the European Institutions' personnel and contractors.
As an Interpreter (Fr<>En) I also work freelance through LSPs. The pandemic boosted the development of remote work and a lot of my simultanous interpreting assignments are remotedly (RSI) conducted using specialised platforms (like Interprefy) or Zoom but I still accept assignments abroad. As a Translator (En>Fr) I work for UK businesses and maintain an excellent and long lasting rapport with my direct clients. I also accept agency work (translation, proofreading, editing). On 20th May 2015 I was accepted on the MoJ Translation Panel. I am Disclosure and Barring Checked. I attend regularly CPD events organised by the professional organisations I am affiliated to or by organisations in my fields of expertise. |
