Portuguese to English: THE MINIMALLY INVASIVE PLATE OSTEOSYNTHESIS (MIPO) AND THE INJURIES FOUND ON THE PRONATOR QUADRATUS MUSCLE PRESERVATION TECHNIQUE: A DISTAL FOREARM STUDY IN CORPSES General field: Medical
Translation - English The minimally invasive osteosynthesis (MIPO) technique with volar fixation on the distal third of the radius, preserving the pronator quadratus muscle, was applied and evaluated in 14 forearms of 14 fresh corpses, being 9 males and 5 females, 13 from the left side and one from the right side. The surgical access performed was described by Imatani (2005). During the plate implant procedure, it was used a device specially made to guide the placement of the plate as the surgical arc was not available at the necropsy room.

Bio
I have had the experience of working with different translating projects as a freelancer and as a translator at the University where I majored.
In addition, I had the chance to live in Portugal for 10 months (Sep. 2011 – Jun. 2012) as part of a scholarship program that helped me develop even more my skills as a translator and as a world citizen.
I have worked as an English teacher for 10 years, which helped me to be in contact with the English language. Today, I work as a full time freelance translator.
