I started my career at Secondo Mona (www.secondomona.com) in the Quality Department. After few years, I moved as a technical author to the Technical Publications Department where I have been working for almost ten years with the task of translating and producing maintenance manuals. In 1998, I was appointed as Product Support Manager, currently responsible for the aftermarket support of the company products.

I chair the ASD Simplified Technical English Maintenance Group (STEMG), responsible for the development and maintenance of the ASD-STE100 Specification (www.asd-ste100.org).

I have been involved in the AECMA Simplified English project since the very beginning (1983), participating to the AIAD (The Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defense and Security) Documentation Working Group and to the national Simplified English Working Group.

In 1996, I was nominated by AIAD as the STE National Coordinator and joined the ASD STEMG where I was appointed as Vice-Chairman, in 2000, and finally Chairman in April 2007. I am also a member of the ASD Product Support Group (PSG).

In December 2011, I received the Honorary Fellowship Award from the MIRCE Akademy, Exeter, UK. In December 2013, I also received the "Fellows of the Year" Award.
