After a 25+ year activity as a Director of Sales for a US company, in 2015 I have decided to use my language abilities, experience and initial background to set myself up as a freelance translator and interpreter.
Indeed the translation/interpretation activities have never quite left my space as I have translated and reviewed many of my former company's documents throughout my career. This included tecnical data sheets, contracts, proposals, bids, marketing and financial material.
My management and leadership capabilities have also enabled me to act as a Team Lead and Project Mgr. on large translation projects where my human qualities have always led to a satisfactory outcome for all parties.
As an Interpreter, I have mostly worked on on-site consecutive and simultaneous assignments, but because of the growing need for remote interpretation, I also started to provide Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) and On the Phone Interpretation (OPI).
