For more than 20 years I have been happy to work as a self-employed translator for international companies, private individuals and (mainly Danish and French) translation agencies allowing me to gain extensive experience in translating texts in various fields such as
- fashion (product descriptions, websites and sales materials)
- medicine (doctor´s reports, surgery reports)
- mechanical engineering (machine documentation, manuals, safety data sheets etc.)
- technical translations (technical documentation, instructions of use, technical documents, brochures, product descriptions and manuals)
- health and beauty
I´m an accurate, well-organised, self-motivated and reliable translator with an eye for details and strong research skills. I´m used to working with CAT tools such as SDL TRADOS Studio 2019 (own license), Across, MemoQ, Memsource, Smartcat.
On average I can translate up to 2000 words a day depending on the difficulty of the text and the area of specialization.
