Bio
About me
I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with 5 years of experience in translation and proofreading. My language pairs are English to Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese to Brazilian Portuguese. I am very reliable and always meet deadlines. I am also a discreet person who takes special care to maintain the secrecy of all materials I receive for translation. My interests include languages, science, astronomy, technology, and business. My hobbies include playing video games, cooking, traveling, and practicing Capoeira.
About Japanese
I decided to learn Japanese initially due to my deep interest in Games and Anime. However, I soon expanded my interest to the language itself, considering Japanese to be beautiful and elegant, as well as Japan and its culture. I hold two Bachelor's degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Japanese Language and Literature. While attending the Business Administration course at Londrina State University in Brazil, I participated in a one-year exchange program to Japan at Meio University. This experience allowed me to live and deeply immerse myself in the language and culture. Motivated by this experience, I pursued a Japanese Language and Literature course at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, which qualified me as a linguist and enabled me to become a better professional translator.
