I'm an Afghan citizen and married to a Brazilian citizen, I lived more than 10 years in Istanbul-Turkey but now with my wife and my son we are living in Brazil. I studied computer engineering but I have never worked as a computer engineer.
Since 2008 I work as an interpreter/translator mostly for human right organizations, I also worked as a translator in different summits, workshops, and conferences.

MSF Istanbul, as Nefes Center, was providing services for Refugees and Migrants Survivors of ill treatment. As a cultural mediator I was supporting professionals in understanding specific aspects of the cultural background of the beneficiaries, assuring the translation between MD/psychologist/social workers and beneficiaries. Written translation of the forms, leaflets, survey files and articles. I was also working in the field to provide information about the services of our center for the refugees and migrants and conducting surveys to understand the needs of migrant communities.
