Hello! I provide freelance translation and subtitling services with a focus on film and television.
Born and bred in Singapore, I was fortunate to grow up in a bilingual environment. I am Chinese by ethnicity and I received my formal education in English.
I had the opportunity to live in Taiwan for a year. During my stay, I worked at a backpacker hostel, constantly meeting new people from different parts of the world. As part of my job scope, I translated tourist information and hostel notices from Chinese/Japanese to English and vice versa.
I graduated with a major in digital filmmaking. With my passion in storytelling, I strive to create subtitles that are natural and true to source material.
